M-5 just wigs out
There’s no reasoning with it
Daystrom is hubris
Starfleet gets chintzy
M-5 means major layoffs
Kirk talks it to death

Captain Ron Tracy
Made some rather big mistakes
He’s under arrest
AND
Oh say can you see
This particular “Star Trek”
Gets really hokey
That’s a real pickle
Hijacked, turned to crumbly blocks
Stimulate them, Kirk

The Prime Directive
Is there for a good reason
Things always go wrong
AND
Hey! Another chance
To use other shows’ costumes
Gotta save money

When you swap bodies
A lot of things can go wrong
Risk was their business

Klingons interfered
Kirk brings balance of power
An arms race begins
AND
In this episode,
Spock gets shot, McCoy is grazed
And Kirk is poisoned

Four hundred Vulcans
Died and now Kirk must destroy
The space amoeba
AND
What does the title
Have to do with anything
In this episode?

Two things for certain:
Kirk and Spock look good in suits
Kirk’s a good mob boss
AND
Come over tonight
Bring Tommy guns and pretzels
We’re playing Fizzbin
AND
Impressionable
Must watch what you say and do
This planet mimics
