• Red icons indicate clear-channel AM stations. These are 50kW stations, so it’s not unusual to receive those.
• Blue icons are lower-powered AM stations. These are the real catches for AM radio. At night, a weak signal can travel hundreds or thousands of miles, depending on atmospheric condtions.
• Yellow icons are digital TV stations.
