Stats
For the first time in a while, I pored over the brianshrader.com statistics report.
My favorite statistic: So far this month, we've had eight visits from people who did an Internet search for "package shark." This is what they found.
We also had three hits from someone using Lynx as their browser. Wow!

A lovely sunset
A nice sunset at the end of a very cold, windy, dreary Saturday.

Bad programming
This is mostly for those of you in the Raleigh area.
I can't believe WPTF Radio has blown out their morning programming (Clark Howard) this week to air the Samuel Alito confirmation hearings. These hearings are likely the most boring thing happening in the country right now. They're exceedingly dull on TV and outrageously dull on the radio.
This is why we have satellite radio. Go buy one.

Popular license plates
On one five-minute trip to Wendy's in Fuquay-Varina this afternoon, I spotted THREE vanity license plates that I'm sure were in high demand: "GRANDPOP," "NANNY," and "DANCE!" All were in different parts of town. This is like a rare alignment of planets, I think.

Moore, Roger Moore
I think Roger Moore really is the best James Bond. I'm in a tiny minority of the population in this belief. Very tiny. And, I realize that it's because I grew up watching him as Bond, or whatever. But the Sean Connery movies never really clicked for me.
That said, Roger Moore is showing his age a bit by "For Your Eyebags Only."
