Too slow

Too slow

This is the time and temperature sign at Scarborough and Hargett funeral home in downtown Durham. Just before 7 p.m. on May 18, the sign read that it was 4:26 a.m. on February 6, 1995. The clock runs about 10 years, 3 months, 13 days, 2 hours, 32 minutes slow.

I love Durham!

I was in a restaurant this evening to pick up some dinner and take back to work. The manager had posted a sign from the Durham Police Department, which said, "This is a Durham Police Department stakeout location."

It went on to inform you that if police tell you to stop -- you should stop. Put your hands above your head and don't move. If you move, it may be taken as a hostile act.

Welcome to our restaurant. Fugitive or non-fugitive?

Getting off of Walnut Street onto U.S. 1 South in Cary at 12:30 a.m. That line of lights is a huge line of incredibly slow cars. Delay: 15 minutes.
