Roller Derby!
Sunday was the inaugural night of the Carolina Rollergirls 2005 season. My friend from Phoenix took us -- she's a member of Arizona Roller Derby. It was incredible! Trauma Queens vs. Debutante Brawlers. Genius! Huge turnout! You should go! It's at the Skate Ranch in Raleigh. The next one is May 22.
It was great to hear my Phoenix friend talking shop with rollergirls from Raleigh and members of the nascent Atlanta Rollergirls who made a pilgrimage for tonight's bout.
