In the great redesign, some pages may look weird -- especially the video pages. They will be corrected in the next couple of days.
In the meantime, listen to "The Bruce Williams Show." It's on from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern on XM 165. You can download and listen here. You also can subscribe to the podcast there.
The show covers everything -- from politics to travel to consumer advice to the evils of text messaging while driving. Bruce Williams is one of the most knowledgeable people you'll ever hear. He is a rough-and-tumble small businessman who is upfront with his successes and failures. From the Wikipedia entry:
Williams speaks frequently on the radio about the jobs he has held throughout the years. He began by melting down lead pipes into toy soldiers and selling them to other children at the age of 11 during World War II. Later in life, Williams entered a wide variety of business ventures including insurance sales, driving a beer truck, driving a taxi, real estate sales, a flower shop, a barber shop, and several nightclubs. He drove an ice cream truck in New York and was the founder of Lane Robbins, now Oak Crest Day Camp, a private preschool in Somerset, New Jersey. He also spent two terms as mayor of Franklin Township, New Jersey from 1967-1975.This is the most comfortable radio show on the air. The hours melt away as Bruce correctly explains everything with his thick Jersey accent. Within a few days, you'll start talking like him and using his catchphrases to answer others' questions.
In addition to his active radio career, he is currently involved in a flower shop business and is on the board of a bank.
Bruce is one of radio's greatest gifts to mankind.
